6-9 power forward Taj Gray of Redlands (OK) CC has committed to Oklahoma. He was a second team NJCAA All-American last year after averaged 15.3 points and 8.9 rebounds a game. Gray led Redlands to a 32-3 mark and a spot in the NJCAA Tournament and he was named as the Region II Most Valuable Player.

Laurinburg (NC) Prep is annually one of the country's top prep teams and this upcoming season should be no exception as they may have more talent than ever. They finished 40-2 and will add a who's who of high school talent to their rosters. Laurinburg also has a deep and talented high school team. They will be the first prep school team to ever play at the Slam Dunk to the Beach. They will also appear at the War on the Shore and may return to the Timberwolves Shootout at the Target Center.

7-0 center Mike Kinsella, who redshirted this past season at Rice, has committed to Marquette. Golden Eagle coach Tom Crean had been to see Kinsella play yesterday in an open gym. Kinsella had received offers from Iowa State, Kinsella will play at Minneapolis (MN) Technical and Community College this season.
