The New Orleans Saints are in Foxborough Mass looking to return home with a victory in hand to salvage their season. Beating the defending Super Bowl champions would go a long way toward restoring hope in a beleaguered city and a disenchanted fan base. The odds makers don't believe the Saints can do it, but there are a few things the Saints can do to pull out the win. The Patriots are far from unbeatable.

The New England Patriots have had their share of injuries, but so have the New Orleans Saints. They have lost arguably one of the best running backs in the league in Deuce McAllister. Filling in for McAllister is a former Patriot Antowain Smith Smith knows he has to perform, and isn't bashful about his opportunity against the Pats porous rush defense. The Patriots know they need to stop the Saints ground attack if they want to win, and it all starts with stopping Smith.

Not only did the Saints have a disappointing season in 2004 but head coach Jim Haslett and general manager Mickey Loomis weren't on the same page on several subjects. The good news is that the two have mended fences and have put together a pretty good plan this off-season.
