The Redskins saved themselves some money, and freed themselves of a yearly injury drama surrounding John Hall. They cut the oft-injured kicker today, saving $1.5 million against the salary cap this season.
John Hall's leg has put the Redskins in a bind once again.

John Hall's injury woes in 2006 were worse than originally believed and it is thought that offseason surgery will keep him on the field this year. Punter Derrick Frost stayed on the field, but his spotty performance last year has prompted the team to bring in a serious, if untested, challenger in David Lonie.
The Redskins have a couple of new teams who may have interestin Patrick Ramsey. Also, a look at their plans for John Hall in 2006.
