Panthers TE Freddie Jones announced his retirement today."It was in the best interest of my family that I conclude my career at this time," Jones said of his retirement. "I appreciate the Panthers signing me. It¹s a top-notch organization and I¹m glad I got a chance to experience it before I retired.

Free Agent Focus v2005: TEs

The late season injuries to both Mark Campbell and Tim Euhus have left the position of TE as a big question mark for the Bills heading into 2005. As both were placed on injured reserve late in the season with ACL tears. Despite that fact that each player is expected to return in time for training camp, GM Tom Donahoe was reported as stating that he will "address the position".
