Offensive tackle Leander Jordan will miss the remainder of the 2006 season after being placed on the "Reserve-Injured" list on Wednesday due to a neck injury. In his place, the San Diego Chargers signed former Browns linebacker Nick Speegle.

When role call came at the beginning of the season, many tabbed the San Diego Chargers' offensive line on par with that of the New York Giants, pitiful. Oh ye of little faith in now former line coach Hudson Houck. Five men who had never shared the same battleground came together and produced a fine season in the trenches and one that brings optimism for the future.

The San Diego Chargers made increasing their depth on the offensive line a priority so far this offseason. So far, the team has signed two linemen and one of those, Mike Goff, has already been penciled in as a starter at right guard – a position Phil Bogle manned most of last season. But Bogle isn't worried.
