Although it may not have been the free-agent signing the Cardinal faithful were hoping for, Arizona did manage to lure at least one linebacker to the desert. Paris Lenon started 10 games for the St Louis Rams a year ago and joins a Cardinals linebacking corps in desperate need of depth.

Whether it's just bad luck or he's actually cursed, Patriots LB Shawn Crable must be wondering what's going on. Crable was one of three players the Patriots placed on the reserve injured list Saturday. Offensive lineman George Bussey and running back Chris Taylor were also placed on I/R. The team also announced 10 roster cuts and a pair of trades.
