The secondary seems to be settling into comfortable roles, and coaches hope that translates into a productive unit over the final three games and into the playoffs. The cornerback positions have been a work in progress as the team makes the transition from Eric Green starting to rookie Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie taking over that role.

The Cardinals secondary is bruised, torn and battered, just in time for the Cowboys and their vaunted passing game to come to town. Cornerback Rod Hood has a sore groin and might not be able to play on Sunday. Strong safety Adrian Wilson is nursing a sore hamstring that limited him to about a dozen snaps last Sunday. If Hood can't play, rookie Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie will take his place.

The Cardinals don't seem to be fretting over their first loss of the season, just as they didn't celebrate when they were 2-0. "We ain't worried about it," said strong safety Adrian Wilson. The Cardinals were back at work Tuesday, but only a handful of players appeared to actually be present. There was a lack of focus and the defense clattered the offense, but it was Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie who limped off the field during one-on-ones. He was a trooper trying to return, but the injury to his left ankle would not allow it. Jason Harris has all the details from Tuesday.
