For a team that made the playoffs and nearly won its wild card game, there is still much work to be done. The team will be faced with some major offseason issues. First and foremost is Eli Manning. They simply have to find a way to get him to play better.

While it's not totally true that Eli Manning hasn't made any significant progress as the Giants quarterback, he sure didn't improve nearly as much as everyone would have liked. In his second full season as Big Blue's starting signal-caller, Manning regressed more than he progressed.

Sure the Giants, with an 8-8 record and another playoff loss, clearly did more than enough to warrant an extension for coach Tom Coughlin. Yeah, sure they did. However, everyone knows that Coughlin's roster, which was often decimated by injuries, was one of the main reasons that Big Blue struggled mightily this season.
