Former Cincinnati Bengals middle linebacker Dhani Jones has decided to retire after 11 NFL seasons, making the announcement today on his website: http://dhanijones.tv. "Thank You Everyone!" Jones wrote. A former New York Giants sixth-round draft pick from the University of Michigan, Jones also played for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Since last season ended, there have been whispers that Dhani Jones time in Philadelphia was near an end. The Eagles officially cut ties with Jones Monday, one day after drafting a linebacker in the third round. Plus, the Eagles signed 11 undrafted free agents to contracts.
