IS THERE A better day than the first gameday of the college football season? Some might argue that baseball's opening day is better, but it's usually snowing in Cleveland and Boston, so I have a hard time buying that argument. It's a time for optimism and hope for every team, and best of all, these games count. Losing in the first week can kill a team's title hopes, which makes college football great. You have to be the best for the whole season, not for just a run through a playoff bracket.

Sunday at the combine is traditionally a highly anticipated session as the quarterbacks take the field and this year was no different. Except for Kyle Boller, all the major prospects who could throw did exactly that and the end result was a change in signal caller rankings.
