Seahawks cut twelve players

The Seattle Seahawks began their move towards reaching the League mandated 53 player roster by reducing the team roster by twelve players yesterday. Among the twelve were some familiar names. The Seahawks will cut two more players before today's practice and go from 70 players to 53 by Monday's deadline. The team will be allowed a five men practice squad in addition to the 53 men roster..

After a lackluster performance by the offense in last week exhibition game against the Indianapolis Colts, Seahawk players will be looking to bounce back against the Chiefs.
