The off-season. A time of year no Canes fan welcomes. NFL? March Madness? MLB's Opening Day? They all pale in comparison to the emotions college football fans experience between late August and the first of the year. Those five months are what we live for. The other seven months we go through the motions and snatch up any college football crumb that is thrown our way.

University of Miami coach Larry Coker has been pleading with his players all week about the dangers of looking past an opponent. Especially when with another victory, the Hurricanes would ink a trip to the national championship game in Tempe, Arizona.

United we stand and divided we fall – yet there seems to be a lack of unity coming out of Hurricane Nation recently. While some are comfortable with the 29-game win streak and feel the Canes can do no wrong, others find themselves a bit more skeptical.
