Nash leaves football program

Just two days after the end of one of its most disappointing seasons in recent history, the Missouri football team has had one of its top returning players quit the team. Starting tailback Damien Nash, who saw his production and playing time decrease as his junior season went on, will not be back next year.

Grading the Tigers: Nebraska

With an opportunity to reestablish themselves as a contender in the Big 12 North, the Tigers stumbled badly at Nebraska. The defense controlled the Cornhuskers most of the game, but the offense and special teams did nothing to help. Check inside for the marks Missouri deserves after falling in Lincoln on Saturday afternoon.

Red-faced

After breaking one streak last year, another continued after a disappointing performance Saturday. The Tiger offense did next to nothing against a mediocre Nebraska defense and poor special teams play handed the Cornhuskers a 24-3 win. Nebraska now holds the head-to-head tiebreaker against the Tigers in the Big 12 North standings.
