The Raiders made it official and placed injured defensive back Charles Woodson on injured reserve Thursday. Now the question being asked is whether or not Woodson will play for Oakland ever again. Woodson, who has not played since suffering a broken right leg Oct. 23 during a 38-17 win over Buffalo, is the Raiders' franchise player and is making more than $10 million this season.

Showing more elusiveness than either of his quarterbacks have this season, Raiders head coach Norv Turner changed direction yet again and announced that Kerry Collins will be back in Oakland's starting lineup for Sunday's game against Cleveland.

Considered a dark-horse AFC contender after some bold offseason maneuvering, the Raiders (3-6) are faced with the prospect of having to finish 7-0 to even have a chance of making the postseason. That seemingly impossible tasks begins Sunday on the road against Washington, followed by a home game against Miami, road assignments at San Diego and the New York Jets, a home game against Cleveland, Christmas Eve in Denver and finally a New Year's Eve home date against the New York Giants.
