Finley Gives Back to Wisconsin

After a successful 15-year NBA career that was kick started by three impresses seasons at the University of Wisconsin, two-time NBA All-Star and NBA Championship Michael Finley gives back to the Wisconsin athletic department by establishing an endowed scholarship to benefit minority student-athletes.

The San Antonio Spurs starting lineup boasts future Hall of Famer Tim Duncan, perennial all-stars Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker, and Bruce Bowen, who is widely acclaimed for his tenacity and game changing defense. Those are four starters, but the fifth one is flying under the radar, which isn't easy for a two time all-star.

22nd Annual Shop & Save KMOX Shootout Field is set

The Shop and Save KMOX Shootout traditionally has been the top one-day high school basketball event in the country. This year, the 22nd annual edition appeared loaded with some of the Nation's top high teams and players coming to St. Louis on December 12th at the Savvis Center. The field will include eight men's and one girls' game. The Shootout has featured the USA Today national champs the past two seasons (Oak Hill in 2000 and Dallas Lincoln last year) and five times in the past ten years.
