One day after six of their former teammates were drafted during the first three rounds of the 2006 NFL draft, three more Miami Hurricanes were selected by pro teams on Sunday.
Though it was not the event this year it has been in the past, all 32 franchises sent more than 100 representatives to further test many of the Hurricane prospects. Several players stood out while many teams were very active.
During Sunday's Combine activity, the Seahawks spoke with at least two defensive backs - one cornerback and one safety. Both are "under-the-radar" players who could make a real difference, if they are given the proper seasoning in the right environment.
