Injuries and Updates from Training Camp

<A HREF=[PlayerNode:792092]>Warren Sapp</A> is expected to return to the practice field Wednesday after the swelling in his knee has diminished considerably. Coach Jon Gruden may continue to hold Warren out another day just as a precautionary measure. <A HREF=[PlayerNode:789394]>Ronde Barber</A> is also slowly working his surgically repaired knee back into playing shape but is still only participating in one of the two currently scheduled Buccaneer practices.

Strategy and Personnel

The Bucs plan to play their starters just as sparingly Friday at Miami. The first offensive unit will get about one series and the defense could play only a few plays as they did in Japan Saturday.
