Joel Rodriguez is a senior offensive lineman from Monsignor Pace High School in Miami. Last season Rodriguez was the team's starting center as he appeared in 11 games. He suffered a season-ending broken fibula against Rutgers, but has participated in all spring practices.

Joel Rodriguez is a senior center from Pace who is rebounding from a broken ankle he suffered in the Pittsburgh game causing him to miss the Orange Bowl. Rodriguez and his teammates would like to play in the Orange Bowl again this year for the National Championship. To get there, it all starts with spring ball.

There have been a lot of injuries this fall, luckily none too serious. Most of the players have returned to practice with the exception to the guys that have had surgeries. Coach Larry Coker on today's practice, "This was a good day. We handled the ball well. We reacted well and we got a lot of things done today."

Today was the last practice that will be open to the public. A very good crowd showed up to see the Hurricanes go through a few drills and go through a full scrimmage. The players enjoyed the game situation and it will give the coaches better film to look at.
