Spring Preview - Tight Ends

The tight ends should be a solid group for the Hurricanes in 2004 despite the early departure of Kellen Winslow to the NFL Draft. Four players will be competing for playing time in the spring with Kevin Everett as the favorite to be the starter in the season opener.

Practice Report - Sunday

Another good afternoon for football as the Hurricanes completed their first week of practices. With their first game less than three weeks away progress is imperative. The players were just in shoulder pads today but the intensity was there once again.

2003 Outlook: TE

Kellen Winslow returns to the Hurricanes after recording the most catches ever in a season by a Miami tight end. Winslow, a first-team All-America selection by CNNSI.com in 2002, caught a team-high 57 passes for 726 yards and eight touchdowns last season.
