Kava returns to Dawgs

After spending the better part of two years in West Africa on an LDS mission, former Washington lineman William Kava has come home. Home to Montlake, home to his football family and teammates who have missed him, and home to good ol' American fast food.

Pre-Spring notes

After a discussion with Coach Rick Neuheisel, it became clear what the goals of the spring are going to be. Accountability is number one. If the coach can get across that everyone must take responsibility for themselves, their actions, and their assignments, he'll be a happy camper.

Spring Preview – The Offense Part I

For the past two seasons, Washington has had a problem. It's an issue that has not been a familiar one around these parts in a long, long time. Offensive Coordinator Keith Gilbertson put me on his $hit list for saying this, and it pains me to say it, but I'll say it again: the Husky running game has been anemic. Well, it all begins up front, and there is significant reason for optimism as spring unfolds.

Once again, mother nature provides. The sun was out in full force at Husky Stadium as the Washington football team dedicated this morning's workout to special teams.

8/11 AM Practice Report

Another gorgeous Seattle morning met the University of Washington football team as they began their third workout as a full squad. There was a lot of work put in this morning, and the team was rewarded with a dip in the cooling pools set up alongside the southeast end of Husky Stadium.
