Continually a competitive program which always makes the post season then puts players into the NFL draft, Oregon may well be one of the best coached teams in America. Going into the 2004 season they have several solid senior prospects with a few outstanding underclassmen.

Bellotti: Working Together is the Biggest Key.

Mike Bellotti talked to the media via a telephone link today and answered questions regarding his team and the upcoming match-up with Arizona on Saturday. The first question asked of the Oregon headman was about his two quarterbacks and how playing both in the first two games is working out. <br><br> "The biggest key," said Bellotti, "is that the young men are willing to work together."

2003 Football: A New Beginning for the Ducks.

In 2001, Oregon football was on top of the world as far as Duck fans were concerned. Oregon finished their best season ever with a win over Colorado in the Fiesta Bowl and a No. 2 national ranking. Everywhere one looked there was talk that the Ducks had finally reached the status of a football power. Heading into last season, hopes soared as the Ducks were on the receiving end of national respect. At one point in September, Oregon found itself ranked No. 9 nationally. Then the bottom fell out.

The Quiet Affirmation

Media Day held Tuesday for the University of Oregon football program was noticeably different this year from those in the past. And, I'm not talking about the new venue – the plush Stadium Club facility in Autzen Stadium instead of the Pittman Room in the Casanova Center.

Tuesday practice report

Tuesday's workout session for the Oregon Ducks was characterized as the team playing faster with more intensity. Monday Report

The weather was good until about the end of practice today -- then the rain came.
