Snyder, Player of the Week in the Pac-10

Junior offensive tackle Adam Snyder was named Pac-10 Player of the Week by the Pac-10 conference today. Snyder, 6-6, 310, was the leader of an offensive line that controlled the time of possession against the former No. 3 ranked Michigan Wolverines in Saturday's 31-27 Duck victory.

Ducks do enough to win.

Oregon did what they had to do in order to beat Nevada, 31-23 at Autzen Stadium on Saturday. The Wolf Pack turned out to be more of a challenge than the Duck faithful of 56,471 would like to see, but Samie Parker caught seven balls for 162 yards and two touchdowns to lighten up an otherwise lackluster performance by the Ducks. Consistency and execution seem to be what Oregon Head Coach Mike Bellotti will focus on next week in practice. Bellotti expected more from his team on Saturday.

Surprising and Not Surprising.

Oregon beat Idaho 58-21 on Saturday afternoon in front of 55,187 fans at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon. That certainly was not surprising. No, beating Idaho by 37 points probably didn't raise many eyebrows. Going into the game the Ducks were favored by 32 and one-half points; so the final score of the game was not shocking.
