Jets cut Ray Willis, G.J. Kinne

The New York Jets have released veteran offensive tackle Ray Willis and rookie quarterback G.J Kinne. Willis joined the Jets on May 29. He was previously with the Seattle Seahawks for six seasons after being drafted in the fourth round of the 2005 NFL draft. He spent the 2010 season on injured reserve, signing with the New Orleans Saints last season before being cut two weeks into his roster stint

Jets sign more competition for Hunter

A lightning rod of negativity, Jets right tackle Wayne Hunter has been under great scrutiny following his poor play last season. New York's front office has slated Hunter in the starting role, a decision that has many Gang Green fans kicking and screaming in defiance. With OTA's underway, New York signed a pair of veteran lineman as viable replacements if Hunter continues to struggle.

Saints sign Ray Willis

The New Orleans Saints placed offensive tackle Charles Brown on injured reserve with a hip flexor injury that will require surgery. And the Saints signed offensive tackle Ray Willis today to bolster their offensive line depth. He has started 26 career games, appearing in 44 since being drafted in the fourth round by the Seahawks out of Florida State in 2005.
