2004 USC preview: Offense

We're going to be good on offense, there's no real question about that, the only question is how good will we be? Look for Chow to be patient as the line develops, lots of quick throws from Leinart, and once the offense hits their stride during the season it should be an exciting show for Trojan fans to watch.

2003 Trojans - WR preview

The wide receiver postion should be an area of strength for the Trojans this season with an experienced duo returning, an exciting newcomer sliding over from defense and a pair of freshmen who should provide an immediate impact. It's not too many times a school graduates the all-time leading receiver and yet improves the position the following year but that is the case for USC.

Spring Ball review

The Trojans picked up right where things left off at the Orange Bowl by coming out prepared for spring ball drills and going through 15 practices at a high intensity level. Pete Carroll praised the competitive nature of the team and the focus they showed each day. The defense proved that it has a chance to be one of the best in the country and the offense showed signs of being as far along as we've seen from them in recent spring drills. Jason Mitchell interview

Jason Mitchell of Harbor JC is one of the most talented JC WR's in the nation. He combines great size (6-2, 195) with exceptional speed (4.3 forty) and because he's a Juco transfer, he is already at USC and will have the experience of spring practice under his belt before heading into the fall.
