2004 USC preview: Offense

We're going to be good on offense, there's no real question about that, the only question is how good will we be? Look for Chow to be patient as the line develops, lots of quick throws from Leinart, and once the offense hits their stride during the season it should be an exciting show for Trojan fans to watch.

Cardinal Offense Explodes in L.A.

Last Tuesday night's 2-0 loss versus Santa Clara was about as poor an offensive showing as you'll ever see. Today's 22-10 win at USC for the Cardinal is about as impressive an offensive showing as you'll ever see. John Mayberry, Jr. and Ryan Garko both had huge days at the plate this afternoon as Stanford took game one of their series with the Trojans. Read on for a recap.

Spring Ball review

The Trojans picked up right where things left off at the Orange Bowl by coming out prepared for spring ball drills and going through 15 practices at a high intensity level. Pete Carroll praised the competitive nature of the team and the focus they showed each day. The defense proved that it has a chance to be one of the best in the country and the offense showed signs of being as far along as we've seen from them in recent spring drills. Hart to stay at QB for remainder of spring

According to the LA Times this morning, Billy Hart will stay with the football team for the remainder of spring instead of returning to baseball. Billy said Coach Carrol called and told him things "were going well" and that he wanted him to continue to compete for the position.
