Missions in; Robertson ties record

Justin Huber has five hits but Edwin Moreno takes a blown save. San Antonio waits for its fate and is rewarded. Mitch Canham goes yard while Wynn Pelzer is roughed up in his debut. Brad Chalk saw a rare occurrence – twice. Eugene takes care of business and lives another day.

Huber humming; Osuna dominance continues

Justin Huber and Brett Dowdy have turned it on lately. Drew Macias brings the Missions close. John Madden is smacked around in a loss. Luis Martinez is beginning to hit but the rest of the team is silent. Pablo Menchaca can't make it past two innings. Stiven Osuna continues his impressive run. Stalyn Valdez suffers loss number six.

Bagley battles; Osuna gem

Justin Hampson takes the Portland loss in his bid to return to San Diego. Will Inman walked six batters but does not have a decision. Rolando Valdez gives up three homers – a career-high. Luis Durango tops the .300 mark. The Emeralds rally behind Joey Railey and Dan Robertson, but Nick Schumacher gives it back in a classic contest. Stiven Osuna pitches a gem in Peoria.

Robertson humming; Sogard, Joynt show power

Cesar Ramos gives up double-digit hits but remains unscathed. Jose Lobaton homers to help lead the Missions. Brian Joynt and Eric Sogard power the Storm. Ali Solis cracks two doubles but the bullpen falters in Fort Wayne. Robbie Blauer and Dan Robertson provide the knockout punch. Jason Codiroli and Kevin Acosta lead the AZL Padres to a win.

Huber launches winner; Kluber in pen

Justin Huber launches an eventual game-winner in the top of the ninth, as the Portland offense saves Wade LeBlanc. Rolando Valdez the starter and Corey Kluber in the pen? Jeremy Hefner is dynamite and Andrew Parrino has a heroic moment but the Wizards are swept in the final at-bat of each game of a doubleheader. Rymer Liriano hits his fifth and Jhonaldo Pozo has a big day in the DSL.

Burke run costly; Gutierrez solid again

Justin Germano pitches a complete game and loses. Greg Burke gives up a rare run and it is costly. Nathan Culp suffers his second straight poor outing. Omar Gutierrez isn't afraid of the Midwest League. A tough loss in Eugene, as they are no-hit through six. Steve Goins makes his system debut and Aaron Murphree has a big day. Pedro Hernandez' luck runs out in the DSL.
