A division that could send a sub-.500 team to the playoffs for the first time (not including the 1982 strike-shortened season when 16 teams qualified), will be featured Sunday night when the Rams (7-8) travel to Seattle (6-9) in a game that will crown the division champion.

The St. Louis Rams announced their roster moves late Saturday night. Two of the biggest surprises were releasing linebacker Bobby Carpenter, a former first-round draft pick acquired in a trade with the Cowboys, and keeping undrafted rookie quarterback Thaddeus Lewis.
