There were not too many games last Saturday that had the pure excitement of ASU/UNC. Fighting back in the last minutes to take the lead, North Carolina has their hearts broken when they lost on the final play of the game. It was good to see Arizona State and their quarterback Andrew Walter in person, as well as a boatload of late round picks.

UPSET: Cal stuns ASU in Tempe to end streak!

<p class="txt">A win this Saturday by Cal (5-4) will earn Cal bowl eligibility pending the verdict of the NCAA hearing. ASU (7-3) plays a thirteen game schedule that includes a dubious victory over Eastern Washington, a Div I AA school. It would seem highly probable that the SunDevils need a legit seventh victory to become bowl eligible. And they won't get it today.....</p>
