This article takes a look back at what I considered were the top 10 questions for the football team going into spring practice.<br><br> It's spring and here are my answers. Overall, the outlook is very positive and injuries are, so far, not a major factor.<p>

Last season the Panthers had one of the best linebacker units in school history. Gerald Hayes was one of the best Panther linebackers ever and is moving on to a pro career. Brian Beinecke was a multi-year starter who also had an excellent career. Those two, plus top backups Scott McCurley and Mike Jemison will also need to be replaced.

Included are comments and projections for the returning players and incoming recruits. Please keep in mind that this is just an early view. When you consider position changes, incoming recruits, redshirts, etc… there may be several changes yet to come.

Spring ball begins March 15th and will finish up with the annual Blue/Gold scrimmage on April 12th. The first day of practice will be here before you know it! Here are what I consider the top 10 questions to be answered during the spring practice sessions. Some of the questions may not get answered till fall camp, when the incoming recruiting class arrives, but the more questions that can be answered this spring, the better off the team will be.
