West Virginia linebacker Marc Magro and defensive back Eric Wicks are among 42 of the top defensive players in the nation to be named to the 2007 Lott Trophy Watch List.
He's known as one of the most intense Mountaineer football players – both on the field and in the workout room, and with that drive and dedication comes a laser-like focus on the game. So, it's a bit surprising to hear that junior linebacker Marc Magro won't be more fired up for the Gator Bowl than he is for any other game this season.

West Virginia's defense appeared to be quicker in getting to the ball this spring than last year, but it's not all due to weight room work and decreased 40-yard dash times.
Although it seems like he's been in the program for several seasons, linebacker Marc Magro is just a redshirt freshman. But despite his relative youth, he's primed to be a big contributor to the Mountaineer football squad this year.
