Three year starter who emerged as one of the top young defensive players in the nation as a red-shirt freshman. Registered 108 tackles, 19.5 tackles for loss and 9 sacks as a senior after 85/19/12 and 71/11/8 his junior and sophomore campaigns respectively. Named to several All-League and All-American teams in the past.

With possibly a record number of defensive linemen hearing their names called during the first round this April, scouts anxiously awaited to see the front four players take the field on Sunday morning at the combine. <br><br> Most of the linemen had good sessions, which made scouts smile, and there were more winners then losers by the time the session ended.

Combine: Thursday's Player Notes

Forget the rumors of heavy security, Thursday at the combine offered one of the heaviest attendances to date at the RCA Dome, with media people, players, coaches, and agents swarming the corridors and conference center. Friday morning kicks off the real fun but there was plenty of action today.

2003 Defensive End Rankings

Though this year's group of defensive ends are deficient stopping the run, one thing's for sure - the players at the top excel at rushing the passer, and that will bring a smile to the face of many general managers. Four are projected for the first round with another pair knocking on the door.
