The final weekend of MWC play will have slightly less drama than was anticipated because of BYU's upset loss at the hands of New Mexico last Saturday. While Utah has already clinched a second straight conference title the game's outcome may carry financial repercussions for each team in the league.

The Curtain Descends on 2004

The Air Force Falcons and Colorado State Rams meet in the 2004 season finale for each team. Ironically, both squads will finish with losing records for the first time since 1993. From that year to the present it's no coincidence that CSU has dominated AFA.

The Lugubrious Zone of Seven

Air Force plays Navy on Thursday night in the first CIC battle of the year and its third game in thirteen days. The first half of the season will conclude with AFA having played five games in twenty-seven days, before entering October and November, for a stretch of the schedule which sees it play only three games in thirty-six days.

The Long and Short Views

The Air Force Falcons play their third game of 2004 this Saturday night against UNLV in Sam Boyd Stadium. Although AFA's record is 1-1 entering the contest, in many ways the season is just beginning. The meeting marks the outset of Mountain West Conference play for this year.

Falcons Ground Eagles

Air Force used all three elements of its customary option attack to race to a three TD, first quarter lead and was never headed this afternoon in posting a ,42-20, victory over the Eastern Washington University Eagles and registered its first win of the 2004 season.

It's Open Season on Falcons and Bears

Historic Occasion

The Air Force Falcons beat the UNLV Rebels, 24-7, on Saturday to run their record to 6-1 on the year and 3-0 in the Mountain West Conference. AFA remains in sole possession of first place in the MWC in advance of its coming Thursday evening meeting with the Colorado State Rams and used an unparalleled performance to down coach John Robinson's visiting squad.
