Former Florida point guard Taurean Green just finished going through as turbulent a first year in the NBA as anyone could imagine. His potential second season is now in limbo. Green is looking for a new team after being released by the New York Knicks this week.

Homecoming No Big Deal for Green

Going back to Tennessee is a big deal for Gator basketballers Corey Brewer and Lee Humphrey and probably will be for Brandon Powell as well. It was a big deal when Billy Donovan arranged for Matt Bonner to play in New Hampshire and Brett Nelson to return to West Virginia.

Forgotten Sophomore Ready to Lead

It's easy to understand all of the hoopla that surrounded the decisions of Joakim Noah, Al Horford and Corey Brewer to return for their junior seasons. Two would have been lottery picks and all would have been first round picks in June's NBA draft. Instead they are back on the practice court to get ready for another campaign with the Florida Gators.
