Pitt men's basketball coach Jamie Dixon has said that his team is playing their best since Feb. 27, and the Panthers ran their record to 7-1 since then with a 74-65 win against No. 9 Georgetown to capture the Big East Tournament title Saturday night at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
When the Pitt men's basketball team faces DePaul Sunday at noon at the Petersen Events Center, it will be the final home game for Panthers seniors Keith Benjamin, Ronald Ramon, Mike Cook and Maurice Polen.
One might believe that the Pitt men's basketball team is still basking in the glow from its spectacular win against West Virginia on Ronald Ramon's last-second 3-pointer last week, but the senior point guard says that's not the case.
