Officially named the Cavaliers, Virginia has also carried the moniker of the "Wahoos" or "Hoos" for more than a century. More than a quirky nickname, this ACC squad has great young talent and possibly the best backcourt you will have seen all year.

Virgina sophomore point guard Sean Singletary has earned 1st team All-ACC honors. Junior shooting guard J.R. Reynolds also earned All-ACC honors by making the 3rd team.

Hoos Dismantle Hurricanes 71-51

Tuesday night saw the Virginia Cavaliers put forth one of their best efforts thus far in the Dave Leitao era in a 71-51 drubbing of the Miami Hurricanes. Once again Sean Singletary lead the way but the team effort was fueled by an energetic University Hall crowd.

Singletary & Hoos Outrun Wildcats 72-57

The Virginia Cavaliers contributed a 72-57 win as part of the ACC-Big Ten Challenge. The Hoos stomped on the gas pedal in the second half and ran away with the victory.
