This game was simple to figure out- the Celtics can't hit a shot to save their lives, and Atlanta is just playing their game because that is all you have to do when the other team simply can't hit a shot.

Danny Ainge was finally able to make a trade, sending small forward Gerald Wallace to the Warriors for former All-Star power forward David Lee. Both players are in the final year of their contracts, but Lee's salary was going to push Golden State into luxury tax territory and would cost them. Trading for Wallace could save the Warriors between $30-40 million in penalties.
Boston needed to add depth to the front court and they accomplished their goal with the addition of Johnson. Not only did Boston strengthen their roster, they also weakened a division rival in the process.
The Magic open the "official" second half of their season on the road against their hated rival, the Detroit Pistons.
