Tulane's Cannon Named First Team All-CUSA

Cannon, the 25th Tulane player to earn first-team All-Conference USA honors, finished his career with 437 career tackles to rank third all-time in Conference USA in tackles and fourth on the Tulane school charts. He made 114 tackles in 10 games this season to record his fourth consecutive 100-tackle season, the first Tulane player to do so since Mike Staid (1991-94).

Green Wave Rebounds With Strong Tuesday Practice

"It was a real good practice today," Tulane head coach Chris Scelfo said. "We did a good job of rebounding from yesterday, the guys were really bouncing around out there; they're getting their legs back. We're still in the practice and training mode, trying to get done what we need to do to be a good football team."
