Bears Work Out Free Agent RB

The Bears organization continues to say publicly that Cedric Benson is doing the best he can and that the team's struggles running the football are not entirely his fault. Nevertheless, that didn't stop the front office from working out a free agent running back at Halas Hall last week. Who was it?

Scouting the Big 12: Baylor

It's been a longtime since Baylor fielded a competitive team and this once proud program suffered through a decade of demise. Even worse, after consistently put players into the NFL draft they have offered nothing recently. There was a glimmer of hope last year and better results are expected on the football field and in war rooms for the immediate future.

Spring Game, Pt. 2 - The Play-By-Play

Bears getting crisper in final week of spring

I can't remember ever seeing this in the '60s or last season, either. Baylor football practice was observed by the President of the University today. That's right, Dr. Sloan seemed to enjoy more than the absolutely perfect weather as he watched various drills and a short full-team scrimmage sessions. I felt like this was a true 'positive' for the program. Dr. Sloan has always been a football fan and maybe, like the rest of us, he's interested again.
