Padres make roster moves

The San Diego Padres reinstated right-hander Mike Adams from the 60-day disabled list, outrighted infielder Chris Burke to Triple-A Portland, recalled right-hander Edwin Moreno from Portland, optioned left-hander Joe Thatcher to Portland, recalled left-hander Wade LeBlanc from Portland and placed right-hander Luis Perdomo on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left knee.

Padres trade Burke; Nova returned to Yankees

San Diego, CA – The San Diego Padres today announced they have traded infielder Chris Burke to the Seattle Mariners in exchange for cash considerations. In addition, the club has optioned left-handed pitcher Cesar Ramos to Triple-A Portland and announced right-handed pitcher Ivan Nova has cleared outright waivers and was tendered back to the New York Yankees.

Orlando Hudson - Out for the Season
