Shaw talks rivalry

At then end of Joslin Shaw's freshman season, he took his first trip to The Swamp. No, he didn't play, but he can remember the game perfectly. FSU trailed 31-34 with just over a minute left when they converted a 4th and 14 followed by a 52 yard game winning touchdown from Chris Rix to P.K. Sam. Following practice, Shaw took the time to talk about the rivalry and what it means to him.

Ready to Contribute

Joslin Shaw was considered one of the nation's top athletes at Plant City High School, where he played running back and defensive back. Following a switch to receiver and a redshirt season at Florida State, Shaw is eager to help make a difference as the Seminoles continue summer conditioning drills in preparation for the start of two-a-day practices next month. FSU, of course, must replace P.K. Sam (pictured) on the edges this year.

Living a Dream

For Joslin Shaw, he gets to live the dream. Nicknamed "Ja", Shaw always wanted to be a Florida State Seminole and last week he pledged to FSU. "It is a dream come true for me," said Shaw. "Every since I can remember, I wanted to play for FSU. I mean, what is there not to like about the Seminoles. When they offered me I just couldn't believe it."
