Smart ready for big test

Alex Smart is a 6-3, 205-pound QB from Snoqualmie (Wash.) Mt. Si, and Smart led the Wildcats to a 14-0 win over Eastside Catholic this past weekend. While EC is a solid team in their own right, Smart knows that the real challenge will be facing the two-time defending state 3A champs Friday - Bellevue. And the Wolverines will get Smart's best game.

On the road without Sweetlou

Well, Jeff 'Sweetlou' Carr wasn't able to attend the quick jaunt down 1-5 to Lewis and Clark College for Sunday's Air Attack camp, but that didn't stop this intrepid reporter from braving sleep deprivation and social obligations to find out what the fuss was all about. The 'fuss' actually has been brewing in the Rose City for many years, in the form of 'Air Attack'.
