Bobby Reid knows who's going to have to be at his best for Oklahoma State to win its season opener Saturday against Georgia. The Cowboy quarterback realizes that the pressure is going to be on him to lead his team to the victory over the 13th-ranked Bulldogs in front of more than 90,000 Georgia fans. Or, would it be more accurate to say the pressure will be on Reid's legs and feet.

Oklahoma State quarterback Bobby Reid has been selected as one of 18 semifinalists for the Davey O'Brien Award, presented annually to the nation's best college quarterback. Reid, a sophomore from Houston, is just one of four freshmen or sophomores to make the semifinalists list.

Bobby Reid made his long-awaited debut for the Cowboys in Saturday night's opener against Montana State. He quarterbacked three series and also appeared as a slot receiver throughout the game. He completed one of the two passes he threw for 17 yards, caught two passes for 16 yards and rushed six times for a game-high 82 yards. We visited with the redshirt freshman quarterback/receiver during Monday's media luncheon in Stillwater.
