VU WBB: NCAA Day 1 in Storrs, CT

The 2013 NCAA Women's Basketball tournament begins on Saturday. In Storrs, Connecticut, #8-seed Vanderbilt will play #9 St. Joe's in the opening game, followed by #1 UConn versus #16 Idaho. On Friday, the four teams attended press conferences and practiced on the court on which the games will be played.

VU WBB: Photos from Auburn on Senior Night

On Thursday night, Vanderbilt beat Auburn 59-44 in the last home game of the season. Seniors Gabby Smith, Elan Brown, and Tiffany Clarke were recognized in pregame ceremonies. VU WBB: Vanderbilt 59, Auburn 44

Tiffany Clarke scored 22 points and grabbed 14 rebounds, and Jasmine Lister added 20 points to lead Vanderbilt to a 59-44 Senior Night victory over the Auburn Tigers in Memorial Gym. With the victory, Melanie Balcomb became the winningest coach in Vanderbilt women's basketball history.

VU WBB: Vanderbilt 78, Arkansas 58

Four Vanderbilt starters scored in double figures as Vanderbilt bounced back from their loss in Columbia on Thursday with a 78-58 victory over the Arkansas Razorbacks. Jasmine Lister led the Dores with 19 points, followed by Christina Foggie with 18, Tiffany Clarke with 15, and Elan Brown just missed a double double with 10 points and nine rebounds.

VU WBB: Vandy 92, Mississippi State 41

Five Dores scored in double figures in the SEC season opener, led by Christina Foggie with 17 points. Tiffany Clarke and Jasmine Lister each scored 14, Kady Schrann scored 13, and Heather Bowe scored 10 off the bench. Clarke was Vanderbilt's leading rebounder with six boards, and Lister dished out 10 assists.
