Arizona incoming freshman McCollins Umeh passed away on Tuesday afternoon following a conditioning session on the Arizona campus. Umeh, a defensive end from the Houston area, had moved to Tucson earlier in the week to get a jump-start on his Wildcat career.
No position has been hit harder than the defensive line. The Cats lost so many defensive tackles last season that they had to scrap the defense. Three years ago they almost ran out of defensive ends. Mike Stoops hopes to avoid this problem by adding four promising players to the existing group.
