Eleven former Colorado football players were put to the test by about 15 scouts from National Football League teams today. It's possible as many as six CU players could end up on pro rosters in mini-camps and training camps next fall, but whether a CU name will be called on draft day remains a mystery. One reason Colorado has implemented the no-huddle into its offensive arsenal, and plans to use it in 2008, is to give itself more opportunities to score. For the offense to really click, however, it needs an explosive threat at wide receiver. The kind of player opposing defensive coordinators take extra time scheming for. The kind of player defensive backs know by name, not just by number.

By his own admission, Stephone Robinson lost some confidence as the 2006 season ran its course. Some mistakes at punt returner and scant playing time at wide receiver led to a down year for the former Mullen High School player. He's working to get his game back to the level at which he knows he can play.
