Highly-touted Wisconsin quarterback Brian Brunner committed to Central Michigan University last summer, and following his official visit to CMU Dec. 5, it seemed a foregone conclusion that he would sign with the Chippewas last Wednesday. But the unexpected resignation of former CMU head coach Mike DeBord and an eleventh hour offer from a Southeastern Conference school seemingly placed his verbal commitment to CMU in jeopardy.
