Prospect Watch: Top 10 Throwing Arms

InsidethePark.com's Jason A. Churchill ranks the best throwing arms in the Mariners' farm system. None of these will surprise you much but there were some pretty good arms left off the list. The criteria was very basic. Arm strength, accuracy, instincts as to when to air one out, and when to hit the cut-off man or put it in the hip pocket instead. Only infielders and outfielders were considered as pitchers and catchers are in their own categories.

Greg Jacobs: Happy to be in Tacoma

Greg Jacobs got the news he'd be waiting for last night, getting called up to Triple-A Tacoma after San Antonio's game with Midland. The memorable moment was made even more special by the way he received the news from Missions' manager Dave Brundage.
