Xavier Fulton Drafted By Tampa Bay In 5th

The University Of Illinois celebrated its second player selected in the NFL draft when offensive lineman Xavier Fulton was picked by the Tampa Bay Bucaneers. Fulton was selected in the 5th round with the 155th pick. He joins a growing list of Illini entering the NFL under head coach Ron Zook.

Four Suspended From Illini Football Team

In announcing their Spring Practice schedule for the season, the University of Illinois also announced that four players have been suspended for portions of spring drills, while one player has been dismissed from the team. Starting quarterback Tim Brasic and defensive lineman Xavier Fulton were two of the four players suspended, while senior Wide Receiver Lonnie Hurst was dismissed from the team.
