John Hester Traded to Orioles

The Arizona Diamondbacks have sent catcher John Hester to the Baltimore Orioles to complete the December trade in which the D-backs acquired right-handed pitchers David Hernandez and Kam Mickolio for infielder Mark Reynolds. Hester's departure has created a chain effect of promotions throughout the farm system.
