The Arizona Diamondbacks released five minor leaguers to make room on their full-season rosters: RHP Osbek Castillo, C Julio Parra, SS Shea McFeely, LHP Mark Romanczuk, and LHP Craig Pfautz. Some of these names come as a shock.

After beginning the season with a 1-9 record and three game postponements, the South Bend Silver Hawks have won six of their last eight games, and five of their past six. Friday night's epic battle may have been the most exciting game of the season for the Arizona Diamondbacks' Low-A affiliate.
